Embracing the simple steps to prosperity
We are all looking for this, aren’t we? We know the expression ‘The Promised Land.’ It gives us a sense of happiness and wellbeing; an idyllic place of full contentment, self-expression and material supply.
Who knows the answers to these questions;-
Why is a person short of money?
How can that be put right?
How can it be put right, permanently?
Does everyone believe that prosperity IS the Christmas story? Let us see what we can discover.
The story of Christmas comes from the Bible. So what do we find there about prosperity?
Apart from angelic affirmations of “Peace on Earth” (which is another way of describing prosperity), we also find:
So I am on my way to China to visit my son, James. Of course I fly Business Class. Eight years ago, I could hardly afford to buy a light bulb, and certainly not to switch it on! What a change!
Mind you, I’m not apologising for only Business Class. If I had bought 1st Class now, there would be nothing to upgrade me to, so Business Class is fine. And I’m not swanking or showing off about having money, but I do want you to be shocked.
Like lovely words, a lovely picture lifts the spirit.
We all know that words you and I actually speak out loud are creative in our lives. When we speak it, it comes from the heart, and is therefore what we actually believe. What we actually believe is our future reality, and will certainly come to pass in our lives.
That’s what we all want!
Poverty is the universal fear of mankind, and you know how many people are experiencing financial lack, despite the unprecedented prosperity of our times.
There is no good thing happened in this world without it having been planned. Think about it! There is no edifice, no work of art, no piece of literature – nothing which came from nowhere.
Most of us would say, “If I am prosperous, then I will be happy.” If that were true, then all prosperous people would be happy, and all poor people would be sad. Of course that is not true, but wealth certainly helps us to enjoy life. It opens doors for us to explore our own unique opportunities.
